Michael Langenhorst, - President & Chief Executive Officer
Mike brings 30 years of industry expertise, most recently from the Anamax Group where he served as Executive Vice President since 1989 and then was named President in 1997. He is a former Chairman of the National Renderers Association and a former President of the World Rendering Organization Association and also serves as a director of many industry organizations and corporate boards. Mike has a BS in microbiology and public health from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.

Martin Couture, - Chief Operating Officer
Martin brings his leadership skills and operations experience as President of Sanimal Inc., to the newly formed Sanimax where he was the first leader of our Rendering and Restaurant Services units. Martin is a member of the Young Presidents Organization and has been an active participant in the National Renderers Association. He obtained a BA in economics from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York.

Michael Ross, CA - Chief Financial Officer
Michael brings a strong track record of delivering superior results. In his previous position at Bell Nordiq Group Inc., Mr. Ross led negotiations that resulted in the acquisition of eleven companies in the telecommunications sector. Michael is highly skilled in reorganizations, corporate compliance, governance, and cultural transformations. Michael was identified as the "All-Star Execs Top CFO" by Canadian Business Magazine in 2006, and has successfully orchestrated an initial public offering (IPO). Michael is a member of Financial Executives International, and a Board member of Investissements Québec.

Denis Caron, - Human Resources & Culture and Values
Denis graduated in Industrial Relations from Quebec’s Laval University. As a people management generalist, he has successfully taken up the challenges involved in acquisitions, change management, compensation, performance and talent management and labour relations during his career.
He has occupied key positions for large Canadian Corporations essentially in the retail industry, where he took on various Human Resources responsibilities. Before joining Sanimax, Denis was Senior Vice-President, People and Culture for Rona Inc. where he played a leadership role in fostering culture change with a strong customer focus.

Jeremy Goodfellow, - Energy
Jeremy brings solid industry experience to the leadership of our energy business unit. Prior to joining Sanimax he built a successful wholesale industrial chemical and biofuel venture, supplying major chemical and fuel producers. He has also held various leadership roles in operations, procurement, and finance in the chemical and automotive sectors. Jeremy represents Sanimax on the National Biodiesel Board, the Wisconsin BioIndustry Alliance, and the National Renderers Association’s Biofuels Committee. He holds a BA in economics from Wilfrid Laurier University and an MBA from the University of Windsor.

Jean-François Bonal, - Hides, Skins and Leather
Jean-François gets results by combining strategic vision with leadership skills. He was chosen to lead our hides, skins and leather unit after working with us as a consultant to re-develop the unit. Before joining Sanimax he racked up an impressive series of achievements during his career in the international food, chemical, and agri-supply industries in Europe, Africa, North-America and Asia. Jean-François is fluent in English, French, and Spanish. He has an MBA from EDHEC, one of France’s famed “Grandes Ecoles,” as well as a degree in agricultural engineering.

Dany Gagnon, - Rendering
Dany is a seasoned manager who brings food and automotive industry experience from Lantic Sugar, ConAgra Frozen Foods, and Labatt. He has an extensive track record of boosting productivity, implementing continuous improvement processes, and increasing customer satisfaction. Dany has a Master’s degree in applied sciences from the Université de Sherbrooke and is fluent in French and English.

Joël Ste-Marie, - Restaurant Services
Joël’s managerial skills were honed in blue-chip companies that include the National Bank of Canada, Bell Canada, and Blue Cross. He brings a strong focus on customer satisfaction, growth, and competitiveness to our restaurant services unit, together with a long list of achievements in strategic business development, marketing, and operations. Joël has a degree in business management from the Université du Québec à Montréal and is fluent in both English and French.
