Sanimax has a 50% stake in APC Nutrition, a joint venture with APC Company Inc. of Des Moines, Iowa to operate two blood-processing plants.

The plants, located in Verchères, Québec and Calgary, Alberta, split and enhance plasma and red blood cells to create important feed supplements that are marketed across North America and around the world.

BHJ Canada Meat Products Inc.
BHJ Canada Meat Products is a 50-50 joint venture between Sanimax and the Canadian subsidiary of BHJ Denmark, a major European pet food ingredient manufacturer.

We produce moist pet food ingredients at our facility in Bolton, Ontario, using various parts of the animal supplied by slaughterhouses and drawing on the trading and marketing expertise of our marketing division.
